VALPOLICELLA RIPASSO SUPERIORE 2023 IL VEGRO "BRIGALDARA"

Our Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore is made by refermenting the pomace of Amarone della Valpolicella. It is a vintage Valpolicella that is put in contact with the Amarone della Valpolicella pomace, which is still rich in sugars, and can start a new fermentation. Ripasso is a slow process that enriches the wine in terms of sight, smell, and taste, adding slight nuances of dried grapes without distorting its identity. In fact, it remains a Valpolicella with a fresh and dynamic texture, where the character of the fruit and the vivacity of the sip remain the protagonists, while the more mature notes contribute to giving greater depth and complexity.
