Valpolicella Ripasso wine is the result of a traditional technique that involves pouring fresh Valpolicella wine over the still warm and sugary Amarone pomace, increasing its structure, body, and flavor.
In the glass, the changing transparencies of its ruby red color blend into a bouquet reminiscent of blackberries, ripe cherries, and dark spices along with menthol notes. Wood aging enhances its elegance and balance. The fresh and long finish is pleasantly fruity with a hint of dark chocolate.
