CHESTNUT HONEY 28g "MIELI THUN"

Chestnut honey is produced from the blossoms of wild mountain chestnut trees and has compositional parameters similar to those of honeydew honeys despite its floral origin.
Very rich in mineral salts, it is distinguished by its characteristic amber color, sometimes intense and tending to reddish. It crystallizes slowly, especially in the presence of blackberry nectar.

On the nose, it releases aromas of dried chamomile, enriched with animalic, tannic, and quinine notes; on the palate, it reveals a bitterish, slightly astringent taste, with nuances of wood, wet tobacco, carob, and cocoa bean.

The result is an intense and complex liquid honey of extraordinary versatility.
