"Il Lussurioso" is made from the oldest vineyards on the San Pietro in Cariano estate. The grapes, strictly hand-picked between September and October, rest in the drying room for a long raisining period of about 4-5 months. This natural process concentrates sugars, polyphenols, and aromas, giving life to a wine of extraordinary power and elegance.
The Blend (The Secret of Structure)
The blend of "Il Lussurioso" reflects the most authentic Veronese tradition, enriched by Buglioni's technical research:
Corvina (60%): The pillar of the wine. It gives body, softness, and the unmistakable notes of black cherry and dried plum.
Corvinone (20%): Fundamental for the tannic structure and deep color, it contributes elegant hints of dark spices and tobacco.
Rondinella (10%): Ensures the necessary balance and freshness to make "Il Lussurioso" enjoyable despite its imposing character.
Oseleta and Croatina (10%): Two rare grape varieties that are Buglioni's magic touch. Oseleta provides mineral strength and noble tannins, while Croatina adds a touch of wild berries and roundness.
